Our experience on our Mountainview project was a perfect example of just how challenging this can be. What started as a straightforward remodel quickly spiraled into a full rebuild when unforeseen electrical issues sparked a fire that destroyed the home.

The journey that followed was anything but smooth. The client and contractor found themselves in constant back-and-forth with the insurance company, while we had the tough task of revising the plans to align with the latest building codes—codes that were far more stringent and different from the original structure. It was a long, often grueling process, but it taught us firsthand just how intricate and demanding this kind of project can be.
