Designing an investment property for real estate developers involves a strategic approach to ensure both profitability and long-term value.
The design process starts with planning the layout to maximize space and appeal to potential tenants. On our 85th Street project, this included creating a functional floor plan that would separate the
master and secondary bedrooms.
Following this step, our next decision was to determine what spaces, if any would be vaulted and decide the best course of action to do so. For us this meant vaulting the great room and primary bedroom to maximize overall value.
Aesthetic choices are important as well; a modern, attractive design can make the property stand out in the market.
